To Adopt a Cat or Kitten
ARMV holds live adoption events each week at Pecto’s in North Andover, Salem and Plaistow. Please see our Event Calendar for exact times and dates
We bring the newest and most friendly cats and kittens in our shelter. This is just a small a portion of all the animals we are caring for, if you don’t someone who is just right, let us know and we can pair you with the perfect pet.
The adoption fee
• $150 for kittens This fee also covers spaying the mother and the rest of the colony or household.
• $100 for cats 6 months and older.
Included in the adoption fee:
• Spaying or neutering
• Microchip
• One month’s free pet insurance
• Testing for Feline AIDS and Feline Leukemia
• Vaccinations up to date for their age and weight.
Kittens under 12 weeks can only have their first distemper due to state law and those under 5 pounds are not yet ready for rabies vaccination.

Animal Rescue Merrimack Valley rescues but rarely fosters dogs for adoption but we can connect you with organizations who have dogs in foster care.
