Auto Draft

As a  kitten, Shelby, needed an operation to remove a growth that was blocking his intestine shortly after being adopted.

Well look at the big boy now. Happy Ending!!

He now lives with Squeak,  who was adopted through another rescue group.
This picture was taken after the “MYSTERY” broken flower pot incident. Their owner found them both lying on her bed in this pose. Do they look GUILTY OR INNOCENT???

Auto Draft

Here is Rocco on the left and Filippo snoozing comfortably in their forever home. Though not from the same litter they are brothers furever now. Thank you ARMV for rescuing us!

DONATIONS NEEDED! Emma, a 14 week old pit bull was surrendered to Main Street Animal Hospital of Bradford on December 19th 2011. ARMV agreed to save Emma’s life & provide the funds & care for the now 17 week old puppy.
She needed  major surgery on December 21st. Without this surgery she would have died! This poor girl had a condition called intussuception and also had a bottle cap in her intestines. She was transferred to a 24 hour emergency vet hospital to be monitored and assessed to see if another surgery is in her future. This little girl was so weak and emaciated, weighing in at only 10lbs but is a trooper and still giving one heck of a fight. As long as she fights for her life, we will fight along with her!
We are a non profit rescue and rely solely on donations that come in. Please help us continue the fight and donate to her care. We believe every life is worth saving! Right now Emmas’s vet bills are totaling over $5,000.
You can mail a donation to ARMV P.O. Box 8006 Bradford MA 01835 or by credit card at www.armv.org – under the how to donate tab located on the top of the page.
Thank you to Dr. Absar and the girls at Main st. Animal Hospital (Shelby, Katie, Jen & Nicole) for helping her through the first leg of her journey in what is going to be a very long road to recovery.
If anyone can help donate to her care we would greatly appreciate it.

Since her surgery, she has gained 5 pounds in just ONE week! anyone that is interested in possibly adopting her is more than welcome to fill out an adoption application :)

We set up a chip in (see below post) for anyone that would like to donate to help cover the costs of her surgery and hospital stay. If you would like to donate please click on the widget chip in link below. All donations are done securely through paypal. Thank you!

Stachey needs a forever home

Stachey is an adorable  7 month old male kitten. He was born in our care and is still with us. It’s time for Stachey to find his forever home!
He gets along great with other cats and does ok with the four small dogs he lives with at his foster moms home.
Stachey would really love to find his forever home.

Happy Tales - Woody & Forrest

Hope you are well. We thought you would like to see photos of Woody (aka Mocha) and Forrest (aka Ko Ko) . . . . “The boys are getting big and have added a lot of fun and laughter to the household. Mocha wants to be the center of attention and Ko Ko is a real love bug. They have tons of fun playing together and they are quite spoiled. Regards,
Vic and Paula

Pretty Peggy

Peggy should probably have prettier name. She has four malformed feet which make her look like she’s a ballerina or a Chinese princess.

Goliath rescued

Goliath – “Golly” is a very very sweet slobbering fella who was most recently being used in dog fighting and not as a winner if you know what i mean. Abandoned at the scene of a dog fight …30lbs underweight, he has a broken painful tail, his front paws are infected and swollen, he has many scars from previous bites – the vet will fix him up this weekend and we can try to find him a foster home and a forever home. Please donate to his medical care at ARMV.ORG

Bugsy goes home

Bugsy has gone home to a fenced yard with a nice retired lady. We wish them both well and are very excited at the thought that she will be someone’s true companion for the rest of her life.
