Thanks to a quick call to ARMV, this little tortoiseshell and her 5 babies were rescued from a recycling dumpster behind the Parthum Middle School in Lawrence. These five babies, 2 orange tigers and 3 black and white all long haired, will be fostered and vetted by ARMV for the next few weeks and they and their mother will be put up for adoption.

With another dozen waiting in the wings. all our kittens have been fixed, have had shots, and been tested for FiV and FeLv as well as microchipped and given a clean bill of health.

Sweet little Besty was surrendered to us from her owner, who had only adopted her from us a couple of years ago. She is still a sweet little shy kitty with a lot of love to give. Please come and visit her at our adoption events at Petco.

This is our Tigger, recently rescued form Andover where he’d had a terrible run in with a car. His leg was broken and unrepairable so after surgery to remove it he is up and around and just as adorable as ever. He’s a very loving orange tabby male just looking for a home that appreciates how special he is and will keep him safe.

I thought you might like an update about how “Ziggy” is doing. Oh, this latest: Ziggy is now Marlowe. We LOVE our little guy. He is a total clown! And he acts like a lovestruck teenager with our other cat, Cleo. Follows her around and dotes on every little thing she does. He loves it. He’s discovered the birds outside and loves to sit in the windows and watch. He shows NO interest in going outside, which is lovely. He’s ALL over the house all day, but he still likes small spaces (like the basket in the living room that USED to hold the TV remotes… you should see him lower himself into it, like a chick climbing into spanx.)I think he’s a happy boy. He sure makes us laugh. Thank you again for bringing us together.

Bounce was hit by a car last night, while not apparently injured she elected to dart under her rescuers truck and climb up into its engine. After a full scale extraction by no less than the police, fire and truck jacking experts, she has finally come to rest with Animal Rescue Merrimack Valley. She is a sweet little thing who doesn’t understand what all the fuss was about. Bounce will be available for adoption after her visit to the vet on Monday.
