ARMV- No Excuse Spay/Neuter Clinics
Low income Merrimack Valley residents now have access a bi-weekly low-cost spay/neuter clinic north of Boston called the “No Excuse Monday Clinics.”
The clinic is funded by Foundation M, the Yvon Cormier Foundation and the Massachusetts Animal Coalition (MAC). which is funded by the spay/neuter license plate.
The cost to the pet owner is
$100 per cat
$125 per dogs under 50lbs.
The cost is higher for bigger dogs.
Low income patrons can negotiate a payment schedule.

MRFRS – CATMOBILE

The Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society’s Catmobile is a subsidized spay/neuter program for cats only. It is a mobile spay/neuter clinic designed specifically for cats. Our package includes spay/neuter, rabies vaccination, distemper vaccination, flea treatment, deworming and an exam. Our Catmobile is staffed by a veterinarian and two technicians and can assist 40 cats a day. The Catmobile covers the North Shore, Merrimack River Valley and Boston areas.The cost for the package is $75 for male cats and $100 for female cats.

Kitty Angels Low Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic
Kitty Angels is offering a Low Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic for people needing assistance getting their cats altered. The clinic is held on the second Sunday of every month at Salem Animal Rescue League in Salem, NH. All surgeries are performed by a licensed veterinarian and are by appointment only. All cats run through this program are spayed (or neutered), receive a distemper and rabies vaccination, as well as a physical exam, a microchip and a nail trim. If your cat requires treatment for infections, earmites, fleas or worms, these medications are dispensed for an additional small fee. Kittens must weigh a minimum of 2 pounds in order to be spayed through this clinic. The cost to the pet owner is based on a sliding scale.
A suggested donation of $85 per cat is requested; however, grant money may be available for those who are not able to afford the nominal fee.
How to make an appointment
Email lindab@kittyangels.org or call (978) 649-4681 and someone will get back to you with a time and date. Once your appointment is confirmed, you will be notified to drop your cat off between the hours of 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. and pick up will be late in the afternoon that same day. Payment is to be made when you pick up your cat in the form of either cash or a money order.
