Scar was found at one of our feeding stations. His neck has a terrible laceration nearly all the way around. ARMV brought him in and got him the medical care he so badly needed. The vet was of the opinion that he had gotten his head stuck in a tin can while looking for food. ARMV helps many badly injured stray and feral cats during the year incurring thousands of medical costs each time. Animal Rescue Merrimack Valley needs your help to continue this work.

Our hearts broke when we first saw Scar’s stitches. We adopted Scar about a week ago and couldn’t be happier with him. His cuts are healing nicely and he has been zipping around the house all weekend! He is a very sweet and affectionate cat…he has a good home now with a family who loves him.
We wanted to thank Barbara and the ARMV for rescuing him and connecting us with a wonderful addition to our family. Also, we wanted to thank Main Street Animal Hospital in Bradford for the incredible work they did on his injuries.
We can’t thank you enough,
Tom, Jen, Tommy & Abby
