Hi to all the good folks at ARMV!

I thought you might like an update about how “Ziggy” is doing. Oh, this latest: Ziggy is now Marlowe. We LOVE our little guy. He is a total clown! And he acts like a lovestruck teenager with our other cat, Cleo. Follows her around and dotes on every little thing she does. He loves it. He’s discovered the birds outside and loves to sit in the windows and watch. He shows NO interest in going outside, which is lovely. He’s ALL over the house all day, but he still likes small spaces (like the basket in the living room that USED to hold the TV remotes… you should see him lower himself into it, like a chick climbing into spanx.)I think he’s a happy boy. He sure makes us laugh. Thank you again for bringing us together.

Attached are photos of Maximus “Max” (fka Bigfoot) the beautiful black and white kitten I adopted from you in June 2010 at Petco in No. Andover. He is truly ADORABLE. He played NON-STOP 24X7 for the first few months but has calmed down a little bit in the past month or so. He is very affectionate, purrs alot and loves to cuddle. He and my other kitty Colby are typical brothers…sometimes they play, other times they go rolling by like a tumble weed but I know they are just having fun.

I just wanted to reach out and update you with how Dj is doing. He’s been a real joy to add to our family. Everyone has fallen in love with him. He has such a sweet personality that I sometimes wonder if he thinks he’s a dog instead of cat, lol…He runs around like crazy and stops, pants for a bit then he’s off and running again. My cat Micah was a little put off at first but by day 4 she has taken him under her wing. She makes sure he is cleaned and takes time for naps. They’re really cute together. I could not have found a better fit for the family. I’ve attached a few pictures for you to see. He’s getting really big, fast, smiles…

Thank you so much for all you and Barbara did to make it possible. I hope you’ve had other families who have adopted the many cats you have waiting for homes. I know if there comes a time for another addition to the family, I’ll be checking with you all, first…

Hi!! Bo is adjusting wonderfully to his new household :) He is not the lest bit intimidated by either the dogs or the kids & has been extemely playful since his arrival. He successfully discovered his litterbox on his own & decided to share the dogs water bowl as well :) The only thing he has seemed to have trouble adjusting to is our ceiling fans, lol, which catch his attention every once in a while & drive him absolutely batty!! He seems completely content here & even claimed a spot for himself at the foot of the big bed :) Thank you so much for all your help!! We love him very much!! ~~Shannon

We want you to know that Brisco (was Snuffy) is well-established now at out house. He is not afraid at all anymore. And you were totally right about playing: if you not gonns play with him, he’ll play with everything else. We bought him the mouse ( it ie empty inside so you can stuff it with catnip) and he absolutely love it! He plays fetch wih it! It is the funniest thing/ He bring you the mouse and ask you to through it) He is getting bigger and bigger. There are some pictures of him.

Dear ARMV:
I went in to make my bed and this is what I saw. I got the camera, took a shot, and here it is. Amanda, who was rescued from the boatyard in 1995, is in the left rear of the photo (she’s almost 20 yrs old). Emmy is in the right rear; she was rescued 18 mos ago from a pit bull house. She’s around 3 yrs old and she won’t let me touch her yet, although she loves the other cats. Inkling is in the foreground. He was rescued with Amanda and was only a kitten, so he’s 15 yrs old.

Stevie is the other cat sharing my house, but she is a brown tabby and declined to be in the photo. She was rescued last summer, having been dumped at a Dunkin’ Donuts. She’s about 18 mos old now and loves people.

Needless to say, the bed is still unmade.
